Responsibilities
The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is seeking a Director to lead the daily operations of their Core, Emergency Department, and Anesthesia Laboratories, and Point of Care testing. As the Director, you will oversee the administrative, programmatic and personnel functions of these areas. All labs operate on a 24/7 schedule, and you will provide indirect supervision to roughly 100 team members.

Qualifications

•Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
•Five years of management and supervisory experience, with demonstrated ability in managing employee performance
•Five years of knowledge and experience with laboratory operations, policies, and practices
•Excellent communication skills
•Strong analytical and decision-making skills
