timer

Many of us working from home are concerned about maintaining productivity while we work remotely during the pandemic.  Elizabeth Hartke, a business strategist and coach, suggests that taking scheduled breaks can be a big boost to energy, productivity and creativity.  Two techniques followed by many successful people are the Pomodoro Technique and the “make 52 your magic number.”  In the Pomodoro Technique you work for 25 minutes and then take a 5 minute break.  The other involves working for 52 minutes and then taking a longer 17 minute break.  Set a timer on Alexa or Google to follow each technique throughout the day.  The breaks will give your mind the rest it needs to boost your energy, productivity and creativity.
